Okayama is a compact, technical layout set in the hills of Okayama Prefecture, in western Japan. Its 3.703 km fold thirteen corners into a tight footprint, trading constant elevation changes for a deliberate stop-and-go rhythm. The drawing reads as a study in compression: a long back straight that builds speed, then folds into a slow hairpin that resets the entire lap.
The character lives in the contrast. The opening sweepers flow fast and demand commitment, before the circuit tightens into a patient, braking-led return. Reduced to a single clean line, that balance of speed and restraint gives the layout its identity — a circuit drawn for precision rather than raw scale, suited to a large format where the geometry has room to read.
