Rudskogen threads 3.254 km through the pine forests of Østfold, in the flatter country of southeastern Norway near Rakkestad. Its fourteen corners alternate long, committed straights — the main one stretching some 640 metres — with tight, technical linking sections, while the whole loop rises and falls across more than forty metres of elevation. Drawn as a clean line, it reads as a compact northern road course where rhythm and terrain matter as much as outright grip.
Its signature is Ångsten — "the fear" — a fast downhill sweep over a blind crest where the track drops away just as commitment peaks. Reduced to pure geometry, that plunging curve gives the drawing its tension: a layout carved into the woods, clockwise and continuous, that rewards a driver willing to trust the line before they can see it. It suits a focused wall where the shape can be read up close.
