Phillip Island runs 4.445 km along the wind-swept coast of Victoria, in southern Australia, one of the fastest and most flowing circuits anywhere. Its twelve corners are almost all quick, linked by long committed sweeps that follow the contour of the land beside the sea, so the lap reads as continuous motion rather than a string of braking points.
Its signature is Lukey Heights, the blind crest where the track climbs and then drops away toward the tight MG hairpin, the one hard stop in an otherwise relentless rhythm. Stripped to clean geometry, Phillip Island reads as open and graceful — a fast, sweeping shape whose character comes from speed and elevation, suited to a wide wall where its flow has room to breathe.
