The Circuit of the Americas unfolds across 5.513 km of purpose-built land in the hills east of Austin, Texas, a modern circuit designed to borrow from the greats. Its twenty corners quote passages from tracks around the world — a fast, snaking esses complex, a long back straight, a tightening multi-apex sequence — stitched into a single deliberate lap that runs anti-clockwise across real elevation.
The signature is Turn 1, a steep uphill launch off the start that climbs sharply before the track plunges left and falls away into the esses. Reduced to a clean line, that abrupt rise-and-drop anchors the drawing: a broad, technical layout with both high-speed sweeps and patient, geometric corners, made for a large format where the whole sequence can be read at once.
